CSAW Final competitions and events are typically held in-person at each of our global academic centers. Regional student competitors and academic and industry colleagues come together to demonstrate, assess, and discuss research and innovation in cyber security. 

 

The current safety concerns surrounding COVID-19 and the uncertainty about the opportunity for travel and group gatherings have led to the decision to hold CSAW Finals as virtual events in November. 

 

While we are disappointed that we will not have the opportunity to come together in-person as a global community, we are confident that we will deliver the same quality of competitions, and we are encouraged that a virtual platform may allow for greater access to and participation in our events. 

 

The NYU Center for Cybersecurity is grateful for the hard work, commitment, and ingenuity of our global organizers, participants, sponsors, and friends. We look forward to seeing you online during qualification rounds in September and Final events in November.
