Sumesh Manjunath Ramesh, Regional Chair

I am Sumesh Manjunath Ramesh, 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering. My research focus is on cryptography. I work on practical problems on lightweight cryptographic primitives. I also work on improving cryptanalytic techniques for block ciphers. I completed my undergraduate from Anna University in Computer Science and Engineering and my masters from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi with specialization in Information Security. During my Masters, I proposed two new Authenticated Encryption modes called FWPAE and FPAE. After my graduation, I worked in TCS Innovation Labs (now, TCS Research and Innovation) on a few projects in privacy as well as blockchain for the industry
